What Should I Believe About Evolution?
upon the existence of God. But it cannot explain either beginnings, nor endings, nor
anything we see around us. Evolution is a faith... and believing it takes much more faith
than believing in God. There’s more evidence for the existence of God than for the
theory called evolution.
Evolution is disproved by the “anthropic principle.” John O'Keefe, NASA astronomer,
writes "We are, by astronomical standards, a pampered, cosseted, cherished group of
creatures... If the Universe had not been made with the most exacting precision we
could never have come into existence...these circumstances indicate the universe was
created for man to live in."
Evolution does not fit perceived reality. When you see the intricacies of a clock, you look
for a clock-maker, you don’t theorize that those metals, woods, and glass just happened
to come together by chance. Yet the evolutionist says everything just happened to
come together so that life could exist.” Robert Carter says, “Evolution only works if life
is really really simple. As we find out how complex life is, evolution becomes less
possible.” Did you know that a computer’s silicon chip is primitive compared with the
intricate workings of one cell? The lines of DNA code in one human genome, spread out
like computer code, would fill 250 Bibles. Well, each simple cell is run by coded DNA, as
complex as language. There is Intelligence behind all living things we observe.
Evolution does not hold up to rigorous scrutiny. While it is based on the theory that life is
meaningless, we (the supposed product of evolution) rebel against there being no
meaning in life. From before our earliest seconds of life, parts of us have been on a
hunt, a search for the goal for which we are intended. No sperm paddles around
aimlessly. All life around us busies itself in this search for meaning ... while man
deludes himself with evolutionary propaganda that there is no God.
Evolution is increasingly hard for real scientists to accept, even though for some
decades, science seemed to be leading us away from faith in God. Many scientists now
agree that the creation demands what they call “Intelligent Design,” if not a Creator:
nothing.” Only a Creator could have produced the wonderfully complex Creation that we
see. I challenge you to study for yourself. Start with Appendix III. Then make your
choice – admit honestly that you have faith in “everything coming from nothing” ... or
believe in an all-wise, all-good Creator God who made it all. Which takes more faith?
