Jesus rose from the dead, thus claiming eternal life for everyone who trusts in him. Death no longer has the final word—Jesus does.

Over 500 people saw Jesus after he rose. His disciples were so utterly certain he had risen that they gave their lives to tell the world. And throughout history up to today, countless lives have been and are being changed by faith in the risen Jesus Christ. Because eternal life isn’t just for the future—it’s for right now, practical and full of hope. The life-giving transformation in your heart ripples out to every area of your life if you’ll let it.

Anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person.
The old life is gone; a new life has begun! (2 Corinthians 5:17 VOICE).

“What Must I Do?”

This new, eternal life begins with simply trusting Jesus. He’ll work with you from there.

So start simple. Just talk with God the best you know how—from your heart. That’s so important. When your words come from your heart, God listens to you closely.

You can use the following as a model.

God, I know I am a sinner, separated from you—but I want to be with you.

I believe Jesus, God in the flesh, lived a sinless life,
died in my place on a cross,
and rose from the dead in a transformed body, never to die again,
              all on my behalf.

Jesus, I am entrusting you with my life. Lead me, teach me, and love me. Help me to know you. And change me as you see fit. From now on, you are my Lord, my Savior, my      brother, and my friend.

The Guarantee

If you believe deep in your heart that God raised Jesus from the pit of death and if you voice your allegiance by confessing the truth that “Jesus is Lord,” then you will be saved!
(Romans 10:9 VOICE)

“Those the Father has given me will come to me, and I will never reject them.” (John 6:37 NLT)

“My Father’s will is that everyone who looks to the Son [Jesus] and believes in him shall have eternal life, and I will raise them up at the last day.” (John 6:40)

You are starting on a new journey. It will have joys and sorrows, opportunities and challenges, unique to the purpose God has for you. But he is with you. You are not on your own. God will help you become the truest, best version of yourself. When you slip up, he will forgive you and encourage you. Because now you are his and he is yours.
